**Why does it take time for AWS budgets to become activated?** AWS budgets may take time to become activated due to the system needing to process and verify the budget settings, allocate resources, and ensure that the configuration aligns with the account's billing and usage patterns. Additionally, there might be a delay in data synchronization between various AWS services, such as CloudWatch, which provides billing data for budget tracking. This process ensures accuracy and reliability in budget monitoring and helps prevent any potential discrepancies or errors in budget alerts and notifications.
