New Media Player: Launching and Navigating the Panel Options

PLI's new Media Player includes various options to give you control of your learning experience. First, launch the program in the player.

Familiarize yourself with the player, and click **Next** to proceed.

Click **Start watching** to begin.

On the right-hand side, you will see icons, starting with **Credit** at the top.

Follow the prompts to learn about and request credit for the program.

You will be able to verify your credit request when submitting.

The **Segments** function allows you to move around within longer programs.

Click the **X** in the top right corner to exit any of these windows.

Click on **Materials** to access documents related to the program.

Click the arrows to download PDFs of the materials, and the **X** to close the panel.

Click **Faculty** for full bios of the presenters.

Click the **X** to close the bio panel.

You can begin taking notes at any time by selecting the **Notes** option.

When you click on **New note**, your note will be created with a time stamp to the related portion of the video.

Click "Q&A"

Ask faculty a question and view questions from others in the **Q&A** panel.

Almost all programs have transcripts. At the bottom of the screen, select **Turn On Transcript** to follow along.

Select **Return to real-time** to switch back to the video view.
