Getting Started
Have an engineer give you the production version of the extension (can be created by running yarn build in the extension directory). 
Use this Scribe to load in the extension into your instance of chrome. The steps should be similar for loading in an extension into Edge.
Make sure to disable all other instances of the extension since this is known to cause issues.
The recommended way to go through this checklist is to test each step separately and then decide whether or not the functionality (i.e “Verify that the icon in the top right is as expected”) is working together before checking off the item. 
Chrome Checklist
Test logging in and logging out
When logged in, try signing out through the workspace. You should now see the popup that allows you to log in if you click the extension.
You should also check to see if this is true if you switch tabs
When logged out, try logging into Scribe through the extension. You should be redirected to the sign in page in Scribe, and when you finish signing in you should now see a popup that gives you the ability to start a recording in the extension.
Test recording a Scribe
Verify that the icon in the top right is as expected (a blinking indicator)
Verify that the icon when paused is as expected (a static, greyed-out indicator)
Try recording some steps while the extension is paused. Ensure that they do not appear in the results of the Scribe.
Unpause the extension, verify that the indicator returns to normal and that the extension is as expected.
Verify that the recording controls are still functioning as intended
The menu and indicator should be in the right location while the menu is open when scrolling / resizing the page
Moving the element around is working as intended
All buttons are working as intended
Where the recording controls are located after you close out of chrome and reopen chrome is saved correctly
The recording controls move between tabs and windows correctly (i.e. they persist when switching tabs, when switching focused windows, etc.)
