    Onboarding Step 1: Adding a NEW Employee to Toast

      Open Chrome Browser

      Click "on Toast Icon <https://www.toasttab.com/login>"

      Click "Employees"

      Click "Add New Employee"

      Make sure that it is defaulted to "NO" to invite to create account. There should be red x's for invite to register and employee self- manage info.

      Alert! Do not enter in the employee's email address or phone number in toast. This information will go in 7 shifts and R365.

      Fill out First Name, Last Name and POS Code for employee. POS Code MUST BE UNIQUE. POS code can be the last 4 of their phone number or social security number.

      Click "Jobs" and Select a job"
      Click "Jobs" and Select a job"

      Click "Pay"

      Enter starting hourly rate for the job selected. Add additional jobs and pay rates by selecting "add new job." ie.: Training, Server, Support Staff, Expo.

      Verify all information and hit "Add" to complete adding to Toast.

      It can take up to 60 minutes for Toast to sync with 7shifts and for your new employee to appear in 7shifts.       If you are adding a manager you can add the email address and phone number later to toast if needed.
