To complete this exercise, you must be in the Sample company. To get into it, click on the Gear icon on the top right corner of the screen, then select Sample company.
Note that you will be logged out of your current account. If you are sure, click "Continue" to confirm.

    Hands On Practice

Now let's get started with the exercise. As a reminder, here is the scenario: QuickBooks Online found two possible matches for a transaction in Craig’s bank feed. He’s asked you to help him identify the correct match. Here’s what you need to know: - The account is **Checking** - The payment was made to **Squeaky Kleen Car Wash** - The payment amount was **$19.99**
From the left navigation bar, hover over Transactions, then select "Bank transactions".
If this is your first time in the Banking center, you will receive an informational pop-up. This is not needed for the exercise, so you can exit out of it.
Click the "X" to close the pop-up.
Confirm that the Checking tile is selected (it will be blue).
If not already selected, click the "For review (25)" tab.
We need to find the Squeaky Kleen Car Wash transaction. You can scroll to find it, or alternatively, you have the option to use the search bar. Since it isn't far down the list, we can scroll to find it.
Once you find the Squeaky Kleen Car Wash transaction, in the Action column, click "View".
When attempting to find a match, QBO searches by the amount, not date or what is in the Description field. When two transactions with the same amount are found, QBO will present the options to you. We want to select the one that matches the date on the bank feed (it should be already selected).
If not already selected, click the "button" next to the top transaction, which matches the date on the bank feed. *Note: your date may be different than the date below.*
    Click "Match".
You have now matched the transaction in the bank feed! If this were a real situation, you would want to investigate the other transaction later.
