    The Sample Company

    To complete this exercise, you must be in the Sample company. To get into it, click on the Gear icon on the top right corner of the screen, then select Sample company.
    Note that you will be logged out of your current account. If you are sure, click "Continue" to confirm.

    Hands On Practice

    Now let's get started with the exercise. As a reminder, here is the scenario: Craig wants to see how much his assets were worth in the previous month and he’s asked you to help run a report for him. Here’s what you need to know: - He uses accrual-based accounting Here’s what you need to do: - Run a Balance Sheet report - Set the reporting period for last month
    On the left navigation bar, click "Reports".
    Click "Balance Sheet". *In addition to Favorites, this report can also be found in the Business overview section.*
    In the Report period field, select "Last Month".
    Confirm that the button next to Accrual is selected.
    Click "Run report".
    You have now run the Balance Sheet. From here, you could email, print, or export this report for Craig.
