    This exercise is a ProAdvisor Challenge provided by Intuit. To find the original, log in to your QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) account, then follow this path: - In the left navigation bar, hover over ProAdvisor, then click **Training**. - Click the **Training Library** tab. - Click **QuickBooks Online** to expand (it may already be expanded). - Click on the **Reports** tile. - Click **Beginner Skills** to expand, if necessary. - Click on the **1. Navigating the Reports center** section. The exercise can be found towards the bottom of the page, under ProAdvisor Challenge. *Note: You may need to answer the Knowledge Check before having access to the ProAdvisor Challenge section.*

    To complete this exercise, you must be in the Sample company. To get into it, click on the Gear icon on the top right corner of the screen, then select Sample company.

    Now let's get started with the exercise. As a reminder, here is the scenario: Craig wants to see how much his assets were worth in the previous month and he’s asked you to help run a report for him. Here’s what you need to know: - He uses accrual-based accounting Here’s what you need to do: - Run a Balance Sheet report - Set the reporting period for last month

    On the left navigation bar, click "Reports".

    Click "Balance Sheet". *In addition to Favorites, this report can also be found in the Business overview section.*

    In the Report period field, select "Last Month".

    Confirm that the button next to Accrual is selected.

    Click "Run report".

    You have now run the Balance Sheet. From here, you could email, print, or export this report for Craig.
