Panopto - How to create a recording

Click 'Create'.

Select 'Panopto Capture'.

Click 'Audio' to change the microphone input.

Click 'Video' to change or remove the camera input.

Click 'Screens and Apps' to select the browser, application or window you'd like to record.

Click the red button to begin recording.

Click the red square to end the recording.

The following screen gives you save, edit and sharing options. Click the "Enter a name" field to rename your recording.

Click the "Choose a folder or start typing to search" field to select the save location on your recording.

Click the "Enter a description" field to include a short description of the recording.

Click the "Enter people, groups, usernames, or email addresses..." field to give your desired recipients access to the video. [[Please note:]] This can still be done at a later stage.

Click 'Edit' to open Panopto's video editing platform. Click 'View' to review your recording.
