      Perform a Stock Take

      Click "Stock Take"
      Click "Stock Count"
Search for an item, or use the filters to refine the item list
We recommend you set the Stock Items filter to "All"
Click "Go" to apply any filters
You will see a list of items. Alongside each item you will see the Supplier Code, SKU (the purchase pack size), the minimum and maximum stock levels and the current system stock level. For example, the item (LEVEL 4) HALAL MEAL is ordered in boxes of 12 individual portions. The current system stock level is 4, which equals 4 full boxes of 48 meals in total
The stock level needs to be recorded in line with the SKU (purchase pack size). For items that are bought in boxes of multiple items, you may need to use decimal numbers
Enter the actual stock level In this example, we have an extra half box in stock than the system thinks we do, so we increase the stock to 4.5
      Click "Save"
You will see the updated stock count, along with the adjustment reason (if selected) and count cost (if the item has a cost in the system)
Continue to enter stock levels for all items required.\ \ Choose an adjustment reason for any variance, if required
This item has a cost in the system, so we can see our stock value of this item is £404.88
The item (LEVEL 5) HALAL MEAL is ordered individually (pc = piece). For this reason, we don't need to worry about decimal numbers like in the example above. We have 30 portions in stock, but the system thinks we have no stock, so we increase the stock level to 30
You do not need to record a value if the actual stock matches the number in the system
Click "Finalize Stock Count" when finished
