[**Status Updates**](https://asana.com/guide/help/projects/progress#sts=Project%20status) are a way of drilling into the details of how a project is progressing from your portfolio. We all know the different statuses we can provide for a project, now we are going to learn how to use them correctly.

Navigate to the "Overview" of the project where you will provide the Status Update.

Select the status to provide: On track, At risk, Off track, Complete.

Write your Project Status Update, you can follow the template provided by Asana.
