      Direct Export

      Create a search in [PubMed](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?otool=iaumullib)

      Mark the individual records you wish to export to EndNote using the **check boxes** to the left of each record

      Click **Send to.**

      Select **Citation manager** from the drop-down menu.

      The number of citations you’ve selected will be displayed. Click on **Create File.**

      If this is the first time you've used this database, before you open the download tick this option "**Always open files of this type**". This will save you doing this download step in the future.

      Records imported into your EndNote library are displayed in **Imported References**.

      Change your **Selection** to either "All results on this page" or "All results" (which will only save the first 10000) or "Selection". Click on **Create File.**
