    Quick Tour Through the Accushield Kiosk

    We recommend placing the Kiosk near the front entrance of your location and ensuring that guests, vendors, volunteers and tours utilize it when they arrive & leave your facility. To start - they will want to click "Sign In"

    Depending on how your community is configured, a "Welcome Message" may pop-up sharing information. This can be added or altered within the Accushield Dashboard.

    They will want to select the type of visitor they most identify as. These are the defaulted visitor categories we provide, but we do have the ability to change the terminology upon request. For instance, if you'd prefer to have "Community Staff" renamed to "Employees" - reach out to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) if you want a change.

    When signing in to the Kiosk, the user will always start by entering their phone number. That's their unique identifier. If they've never signed into a Kiosk, they may need to create their account by entering in their name.

    Depending on the community's customizations, while signing in, the user may have to answer health screening questions, acknowledge policies, get their temperature taken, input extra data, ect. After those customizations, most users will have to provide their "Reason for Visiting" - If they are visiting a resident, they will need to search for the resident using their last name. If a resident is uploaded into the Accushield Dashboard, they should appear. - If they are meeting staff, they will see a list of staff they can choose from. If a staff member is uploaded into the Accushield Dashboard and has the "Display in Kiosk" toggle turned on their profile, they should appear. - If they choose Event, any events the community has added into the Dashboard will appear in a list for them to choose from. - If they said they were from a staffing agency during their sign-in, they will see the "Fill A Shift" option where they can put in the number of hours they've been contracted to work.

    The guest will want to sign-out once they're done with their visit - which is very quick and easy to do. They will click Sign Out, choose their visitor type again & type in their phone number again. That will complete the sign-out.

    If the community is using Reputation Accelerator, there may be a screen to gather experience feedback during the sign-out. Once provided, they are signed out.

    You can access a 24 hour Visitor Log directly from the Kiosk by tapping the white space at the bottom 5 times in a row.

    This allows you quick insight into who may or may not be in the building. You can view Visitor, Resident and Community Staff activity. If an entry is italicized, like Sam Beck, that means their sign-in is still in progress. If you click on their name, you can manually sign them out, in instances where the guest may have forgotten to.

    You can access the Kiosk Settings page by clicking the Accushield logo at the top 5 times in a row.

    This page shows information about your Kiosk. The "Restart App" button on the left will give your Kiosk a quick restart. The "Print Evac Report" will print a full evacuation report showing who is in & out of the building and may be helpful in instances of an emergency. The "Settings" button will allow you to adjust the wifi network connected to the Kiosk as well as the time displayed on the Kiosk.
