    If a member needs to cancel or misses part of their trip due to an unexpected reason, they may be eligible for reimbursement through [Trip Cancellation or Interruption Insurance](https://qc.bluecross.ca/partner-guide/products-coverages/TCI). These benefits cover any unused, prepaid, non-refundable travel expenses, up to a maximum of $20,000 per contract. **Trip Cancellation Insurance** will reimburse the member for any prepaid, non-refundable travel expenses if the trip needs to be canceled before departure due to an unforeseen event. **Trip Interruption Benefits** apply if the member misses' part of their trip after departure due to a covered unexpected event. \ **Eligibility and Stability Requirements:** - **Medical Stability** – Applies to all ages and trip durations: - A 3-month stability period must be in place before the coverage effective date. - **Age 55+** – Applies to any trip duration: - Medical eligibility questions must be answered as usual. - No medical questionnaire or Health Declaration is required.

Note that if a medical questionnaire is required, the underwriting outcomes will be sent to the email address entered in this field.)* 3. Click the **radio button** to "**Confirm having obtained the customer's consent...**" if using your advisor or agency’s email address. Alternatively, select the **radio button** for **"I don't have to obtain this consent since the contract information will be sent directly to my customer."** 4. Click **"Continue"** to proceed to the payment screen, or select **"Save Quote"** to save the quotation for 30 days.
