- **If you are linking to a page on your website,** you can start typing the name of the page and the system will populate a list of available pages that match your query.
- You can also add a relative URL here if you're linking to a page on your website. (A relative URL contains only the path, i.e., everything after the "...edu").
- **If you are linking to a URL on a different website,** you must use the absolute URL. (An absolute URL is the full URL, including protocol ( http / https ), the optional subdomain (e.g. [[commencement.]] ), domain ( [rutgers.edu](http://example.com) ), and path (which includes the directory and slug ([[/events]]). Absolute URLs provide all the available information to find the location of a page.)
