    Searching in 25Live

We'll start out by learning how to find events and rooms! Click "Go to Search."
Search for any events to see some information about them. You can see more information about the event by clicking on the event's name.
Click "Events" and change the dropdown to "Locations" to search for locations.
For training purposes, we'll search for SURC locations.
The default option will be to see the locations in a list format. You can click "Calendar" to see all events happening in all of those spaces.
Here's the Calendar view. It can be a little overwhelming - Availability might be more helpful for you!
Here's what that looks like. I'll go back to the List option for training purposes, though.
Right now, 50 options are showing up - that's a lot to narrow down! We can speed up the process by choosing which "Features" we want. Here I have selected that we would like a whiteboard.
Click "Layouts" to choose which layout you would like. Here I have selected "Classroom Style."
Click this capacity box. I entered "50" in the first box and left the second box empty to only see rooms that hold more than 50 people.
Click "Search" to refresh your results.
Our search has narrowed 50 results down to only 2 results! Let's click on SURC 137A to learn a little more about it.
The Comments box usually has some helpful information about the room.
To see the room in another setup, click the setup's name. (Note that changing the room setup from the default for your event does incur a fee.)
The Attributes box has some good information too. If this was an academic space, there would be an option to say if the location requires department approval to use. If it says "Yes," that doesn't mean you can't use it - it just means that 25Live will automatically email the person in charge of the space to ask for approval. They will approve or deny your event, and we will let you know either way!
The very bottom left has the hours for the building the room is in.
Tip! If your event falls outside of building hours in an academic building, we will ask Facilities to adjust the building hours so it will be open during your event. This is free!

Want to make guides like this in seconds? Yes, it's really that fast.
