Record a Custom Message for "Routing Options: To a Message (no voicemail)" in Departments/Call Centers
You must have an Admin role to make these changes.

Dialpad

Make sure you have a headset connected to your computer (can be wired or wireless/Bluetooth)

Click your icon in the top right corner of the Dialpad app.

Click "Profile" - this will take you to the Dialpad profile & admin website.

Once your profile page opens, click "Admin Settings" (the gear below the person icon in the left menu bar)

Tip! It is recommended you save the Admin Settings page as a favorite/make a desktop shortcut/add to favorites bar - then you can skip steps 2 - 4.

Click "Departments" or "Ai Contact Centers"

Click the department or contact center you need to record a message for.

Click "Business Hours & Call Routing"

Scroll down and click "Edit Call Routing" on the right.

Under Routing Options --> Open Hours Routing, make sure "To a message (no voicemail)" is selected. Then click on 'Record a greeting'.

Name the greeting, then click on "Start recording"

Click "Start Recording" - you'll hear a voice prompt: *Please record your greeting after the tone* Record your message

Click here when you're finished.

Once you've finished the recording, you should see it show up under "To a message (no voicemail)"
