Redtail Integration - Set Up

Holistiplan
Start by Logging Into Holistiplan
Only Firm Admins on the subscription will have access to enabling the integration.

Navigate to the "Settings" tab.

Select "Integrations" from the ribbon.

Find the Redtail integration and toggle to "Enabled".

Scroll up and click on your name at the top right-hand side of the screen.

From the drop down menu, select "My Account/Password".

Scroll down and enter your Redtail login credentials in the respective "Username" and "Password" fields.
For security purposes, Holistiplan does NOT store your Redtail login credentials within its database.
Importing Households Not in Holistiplan

Navigate to "Households".

Click "Add Household From Redtail".

Search Redtail by household name then click "Fetch Groups".

Once the household is found, select "Connect this Group".

Click "Continue and Import Client".
Connecting Households Already in Holistiplan

Navigate to the client's household page and click "Connect Household to Redtail" under the household title.

The software will automatically search using the client's name in Holistiplan. Once the household is found, click "Connect this Group".

Click "Continue and Import Client".

After the household is connected, connect each individual client by clicking the "Import & Connect Clients" button located on the "Clients" ribbon.
Importing Clients Not in Holistiplan

Under "Import from Redtail", click "Select this Option".

Click "Continue".

Search Redtail by name then click "Fetch Clients".

Once the client is found, click "Import Client".

Click "Continue and Import Client"
Connecting Clients Already in Holistiplan

Under "Connect to Redtail", click "Select this Option".

Select the existing client from the drop down menu.

Click "Continue".

Once the client is found, click "Import Client".

Contact Name and Birthdate data from Redtail will be compared against data on the client in Holistiplan. Click "Update Household to Match Redtail" to finish connecting the client.
