Removing Respondus and Enabling Verity on an Existing Canvas Classic Quiz 2024

Navigate to you Canvas course page.
Tip! Before enabling Verity on an existing quiz, you must first disable Respondus LockDown Browser on any quizzes that previously required this test proctoring.

Click on "LockDown Browser" in your left navigation panel.

Choose the quiz then click "Settings"

Click the "Don't require Respondus LockDown Browser for this exam" field then click "Save + Close"

Repeat this step for any quiz that previously required Respondus.

You are now ready to enable Verity.

Click "Quizzes"

Select the quiz.

Click "Edit"

Click the "YuJa Verity Test Proctoring Platform" field.

Click "Configure Settings"

If NEO Default is not already chosen, please choose this option.
