    Reporting Student Absences through the Realtime Parent Portal

    Navigate to [https://www.fridayparentportal.com/kinnelon](https://www.fridayparentportal.com/portal/index.cfm?f=homepage.cfm&msg=Portal%20User%20has%20not%20completed%20Requirements) and sign into your account.

    Click "Daily Attendance" from the Menu Options

    Click "Report Student Attendance."

    Click on the Date Type dropdown and select Single Day or Date Range.

    If you need to report late arrivals or early dismissals please follow the instructions listed at the top of the Report Student Attendance screen in the portal.

    Select the absence date or range of dates.

    Please note there are different cut-off times for entering absences the day of at PRM and KHS.

    Select the "Absent Acknowledged" code under Attendance

    Enter a note with the absence reason.

    Click "Review Attendance Request."

    Review your request and then Submit Attendance Request.

    Your request status will initially appear as "Pending".

    The status will change to "Approved" once processed by the main office.
