You can find the "**Virtual machines**" section under the "**Tools**" dropdown.

If you have none provisioned already, select "*Request a virtual machine*".

Here you can select what kind of virtual machine image you are requesting...

... before providing additional information about your request and selecting "*Request a virtual machine*".

Click "*Start*" to start up the virtual machine.

You will then see the option to open either a *terminal* or *desktop* view.

The file/folder hierarchy matches the one in your workspace.

In order to control costs it is best to shut down the machine when it is not in use. Select "*Stop*" to do this.
