Click "Edit mode" to enable editing.
Locate the Moodle tool you want to restrict access to.
Edit the 'availability' tab if necessary.
      Open the 'Restrict access' tab.
      Click "Add restriction...".
Add your restrictions as necessary. In this example, the activity remains open only during the exam period.
By adding two restrictions, the activity will be set when the exam period starts and will close 15 minutes after the exam ends.
It is recommended to use the 'eye', adjacent to any restrictions to choose what happens if a student does not have access to content. By default, students will see the name and restriction details but cannot enter the content. It is recommended to cross out the eye to hide content from restricted students entirely if restriction details contain sensitive content (i,e, student details).
Click 'Save and return to course' to commit changes.
Check under the Moodle tool if it as has been set properly.
