To complete this exercise, you must be in the Sample company. From your QBOA account, click the Gear icon on the top right corner of the screen, then select Sample company.
Note that you will be logged out of your current account. If you are sure, click "Continue" to confirm.
Now you can start the exercise.
Make a Customer Inactive
While you can't just remove someone from QBO completely, you can make a customer inactive.
First, locate the customer.
From the left navgiation bar, hover over Sales, then select "Customers"
Click "Dylan Sollfrank"
Note that Dylan Sollfrank has a $0 balance, so no additional work is required before making his account inactive.
Click the "down arrow" next to the Edit button
Click "Make inactive"
Click "Yes, make inactive"
Now the word "deleted" is showing beside Dylan Sollfrank's name.
