A receipt is automatically sent to the donor when the transaction is processed (including for every recurring donation). You do not need to send a receipt yourself unless they request a copy.

Go to your [Staff Dashboard](https://app.hubspot.com/reports-dashboard/43906074/view/11782727?dataSource=0-3&dataSourceName=DEAL&propertyName=hubspot_owner_id&propertyType=enumeration&operator=In&value=__hs__ME)

Scroll down to the bottom and under "My Donors" Click "Click here to view your full donor list"

Click the "Search name, phone, email addresses, or company" field and enter the name of the donor (or you can just review the list to find them. Note: The "My Donors" list filters out all contacts assigned to you.

Click on the donor's name when you find them.

Navigate to the right hand column of the person's contact record under the "Payments" section. Find the payment you need to refund and hover over it. Click "Preview"

Click "Actions"

Click "Send receipt"

Click "Send"

A copy of the receipt will be sent to the donor's email address listed on the transaction. See the example below. Note: Every recurring donation will receive a reminder 14 days prior to the automatic transaction and a receipt automatically after it is charged.
