Open your terminal and enter the following command:

[[ composer create-project laravel/laravel:^10.0 example-app]]

When that finishes, enter the following command:

[[cd example-app]]

The enter the following command: (this may take a few minutes)

[[php artisan sail:install]]

You'll be asked what services you want to install - here we can just select mySQL and hit enter. 

Enter the following command:

[[composer require uselagoon/sailonlagoon --dev]]

And finally, we set sail on Lagoon with the following command:

[[php artisan sail:onlagoon]]

You'll be asked to enter a name for your project, here we are using laravel-example app: 

When finished, you should get a couple of success messages. Now you're ready to put your Laravel site on Lagoon!
