Create a sales order in Sage Intacct with the following settings:
- Name: “Sales Order” Workflow category: Order
- Template Type: Order
- Partial conversion: Leave transaction open or Close transaction
- GL Posting: Do not post
- Line-item price: Off
- Track line-item discount: Off

Enable sales orders on your Paystand plan settings

Head over to your Dashboard

A new page will appear called “Sales orders”

You can view your newly-created sales order here

Make a full or partial payment on the sales order either via the virtual terminal, the checkout experience, or directly from Sage Intacct

The sales order will automatically be converted to a sales invoice and this one will be automatically synced to your Dashboard as usual and the sales order will be marked as “Converted”

The sales invoice will be treated like any other invoice and reconciliation will go through

Once converted, the sales order cannot be edited or deleted in Sage Intacct—you won’t have to worry about this transaction in the future again
