We have used Contacts as the example in this demo, but you can **Pin** one List View per Object, so this is worth repeating across other Objects such as Accounts, Opportunities and Leads, as well as any custom Objects you have.
1
By default, the first **List View** you'll see on any Object will be "Recently Viewed". You'll see a downwards **Pin** icon next to it. This indicates that this List View will be the default for this Object.
2
To select a different default starting List View, click the down arrow to bring up a list of List Views.
3
Select the default List View of your choice. In this case, we've selected "My Favourite List to Pin".
4
Now you can see that List View, you'll notice the **Pin** icon is sideways - showing it is NOT currently pinned.
5
Click the **Pin** Icon. It now points downwards signifying its Pinned, and you'll receive confirmation of this change.
6
Now, next time you go to Contacts.....
7
....you'll see this List View as the default list which now appears.
8
If you want to Unpin this List View, pick another List View to **Pin**. NB: At least one List View has to be **Pinned**. For example to return the default to "Recently Viewed", select it from the List View dropdown.
9
**Pin** it again by clicking on the **Pin** icon.
