Making this change will cause Salesforce to Refresh - not just the tab you are looking at, but across any open tabs.
Ensure you have saved all your work before making this change. Our top tip is to do this at the beginning of your day before doing anything else to be absolutely sure!

When you change the "Display Density", it will change for ALL records.
Let's take an Opportunity Record as an example. There's lots of white space around the Related Lists and the Activity timeline. This is the **Comfy Density.**

On the Details tab, again there's white space between the fields, and they're spaced out.
If you've got more information on your screen, a smaller screen, or just your personal preference for reviewing data, the **Compact Density** might suit you better.
Click on your Profile Icon top right.

The "Display Density" enables you to set your display preferences.
By default its set to **Comfy** is selected.

Select "Compact"

You will be reminded to check that ALL your work is saved - remember - across ALL tabs.
If you are sure you want to proceed then click "Refresh now".

Related lists are now more compact, so we can see more on the screen.

And on the Details tab we can see the fields are closer, and smaller, allowing you to see more data at once.

You can revert to the more spacious **Comfy** view by clicking on your Profile Icon again and this time selecting "Comfy"
