      OPTION 1 (Scanning Both Sides) Place the document in the feeder.

      OPTION 2 (Scanning One Side) Open the scan bed and lay the document scan side down.

      Click the start menu.

      Type "Scan" in the search bar.

      Click "New Scan"

      In the Profile section, choose "Documents".

      In the Source section, select "Flatbed" if you are only scanning ONE side and put the document on the flatbed.

      In the Source section, select "Feeder (Scan Both Sides)" if you are scanning BOTH sides and put the document in the feeder.

      In the Color Format section, select "Color".

      In the File Type section, select "JPG (JPG File)".

      Click "Scan"

      When scan is finished, click "File" in the top left corner.

      Click "Print" in the drop-down. NOTE: You're not actually going to print it, this is just how you save it as a PDF.

      In the pop up window, select "Microsoft Print for PDF" in the Printer section.

      Click "Print"

      In the pop up window, click "Desktop" at the left of the window.

      Name the file with the following naming convernsions: Student Name - Type of Document - Date of Document For example: John Johnson - Doctors Visit Results - 12.20.2022

      Click "Save".

      The final scanned document will be the new file on your desktop. You can now upload this file to iCentrix using the "UPLOADING DOCUMENTS TO APPOINTMENTS" instructions linked below.
