Within your search UI, click on Code Editor
The code editor opens a cloud IDE where you can edit the code generated by the UI builder template with your configurations. This code is written in React, and here, you can use the editor to add new packages, components, change layout, formatting. Here, we will change the placeholder text for the searchbox.
The preview should reflect the text change. Next, let's make a commit of the change - code changes are version controlled and each version can be deployed to its own domain.
Once you've added a message, press the "Commit" button.
We should see the commit and version reflect in the top navbar. Next, we will deploy this version live.
Select the latest version to deploy and press "Deploy"
Click the URL once the deployment is complete.
Login and use the latest search UI version
