Sign into CanadaHelps to access the Donor Management System.
We'll start by creating a year-end engaged email subscribers Group. Typically, these subscribers only engage with charity emails in November and December. So, we'll segment the "Inactive Email Subscribers" list from earlier in this blog by identifying which subscribers in that list opened or clicked through an email between November 1 and December 31 in the previous year.
Once you've accessed the Donor Management System, click "Contacts"
    Click "Advanced Search"
Navigate to the "SEARCH OPERATOR" and ensure you click the "OR" field.
    Click the "GROUP(S)" dropdown.
    Click "* Inactive Email Subscribers"
    Click "Mailings"
Click the "MAILING START DATE" dropdown.
    Click "Choose Date Range"
For this guide, we'll say year-end starts on November 1. Feel free to change the year as required.
Select "December 31" to mark the end of the year-end giving season.
Under "TRACKABLE URLS" click the "Clicked" field.
Under "TRACKABLE OPENS" click the "Opened" field.
    Click "Search"
    Click the "All Records" field.
    Click the "Actions" dropdown.
    Click "Group - add contacts"
Click the "Create New Group" field.
