Send a reminder for a missed or upcoming assignment

This guide shows how to quickly send a private reminder to every student who hasn’t submitted a specific assignment in Blackboard Ultra. It’s useful for instructors who want an efficient, one‑click way to target only non-submitters and send personalized messages.

Navigate to [https://blackboard.wichita.edu](https://blackboard.wichita.edu/ultra/courses/_175214_1/outline) and then to your course.

Click "Gradebook"

Click the title of the assignment you are concerned about

In the "Student Status" dropdown area, choose "No Submission"

Select all at the top

Click "Send Message"

Compose your message. Each student will receive their own "copy" so students don't see each others' names.

Type "Remember to submit Module 4's assignment please. [[enter]] [[enter]] Dr. Speer"

Click "Send"
