If you are configuring your dietary information immediately after you have added your ingredients, scroll to the top of the screen and skip to Step 10
      Navigate to Synbiotix
Enter your username and password and click "Login"
      Select Production Management
Production Management is called "NCIS" in some systems but the functionality is the same
      Click "Administration"
      Click "Recipes"
      Search for the recipe
      Click "Go"
      Click "Ingredients"
The recipe's nutritional information is automatically created when adding ingredients. The nutritional information displayed is for one portion, and is calculated by dividing the number of ingredients by the yield Click here for further information about portion sizes and yield: [https://scribehow.com/shared/Configure_Portion_Sizes_Yield_and_Weight_Change_for_a_Recipe__d9a1xA5ATs2taAiDS58BQA](https://scribehow.com/shared/Configure_Portion_Sizes_Yield_and_Weight_Change_for_a_Recipe__d9a1xA5ATs2taAiDS58BQA)
Click "Show Energy Contributions" to view a breakdown of the energy contribution percentage by macronutrient
A pie chart will be displayed, showing the energy contribution percentage of each macronutrient. Click "Show less" to hide the pie chart
Click "Show more" to assign dietary information to the item
The system has an "auto-diet" function which compares the nutritional information of the item to the BDA's Nutrition and Hydration Digest dietary coding guidelines to see if it is compliant. You do not need to analyse the nutritional content of the recipe yourself
There are three auto-diet options: High Energy, Healthy Choice and Renal
Select the food type from the drop down box In this example, we have selected "Total meal" from the "High Energy" drop down box
Repeat for Healthy Choice and Renal, if required
Use the "Diet Types" drop down box to select any additional required diet types
If you use the auto-diet function, you don't need to choose high energy, healthy choice, or renal from the "Diet Types" list
