**Set alerts by project in Sentry - Start with a project view. See critical metrics, recent triggered alerts, latest releases.**

**Click "Create and Alert" to create an alert for this project**

**Sentry Change alerts, or alerts that use a percent change threshold, can be set for the alert types highlighted below - Number of Errors, users affected, Sessions, or performance based alerts.**

**Here is is an number of errors example. Confirm the project, environment (Prod, dev, etc), and add any filters to pinpoint the exact device, OS, server name etc for Sentry to monitor. Select the percent change option.**

Select the time frame for Sentry to compare and monitor against.

**Set Sentry to monitor and alert on the number of errors being higher or lower than a set threshold.**

**Set actions for when the alert will trigger - at Critical or Warning status for example**

**Set where the alert will be sent - Slack, Teams, email, or other messaging systems.**

**Send the alert to a member or an entire team**

**Select the member to send the alert to**

**Give your alert a name and same the rule.**
