Set Up Upwork Job Alert Using RSS and Zapier

Navigate to <https://www.upwork.com/nx/find-work/>

Click the "Search" field and type your skill and enter Search.

Click "Advanced Search"

Click the "Title search" field. Type your skill and click "Search"

Click the "Search" field. Search for similar job names. Type "OR title:(front-end)". Enter Search.

Okay, let's add some filters. Click the "Min" field. Type "15"

Click the "Max" field. Type "20". Try to narrow down so that you see like 3-4 job post per day.

For fixed-price, click the "Min" field. Type 150. Click the "Max" field. Type 300.

Click "Save search". Click "Save"

Go back to the Find Work page. Click "Find Work"

You will see the saved search. Click "title:frontend OR title:(front-end)"

Click on the three dots icon.

Click "RSS". Make sure to keep this page open because we'll need to copy the web address soon.

In a new tab, navigate to [https://zapier.com/app/home](https://zapier.com/app/home)

Click "Create"

Click "Automated workflows". Let's name it "Upwork Automation"

Click Trigger.

Click "RSS by Zapier"

For Event choose New Item in Feed and then click Continue. Click Test Trigger

Now, paste it in the box that says Feed URL. After that, click Refresh Fields and then click Continue. Click Test Trigger.

Choose any option that shows up, and continue with the selected record.

Now select the "Gmail" option.

For "Event", choose Send Email and then click Continue. Connect your Gmail account and then click Continue.

Now, type in the email where you'd like to get notifications about Upwork jobs. Use the Gmail account that you just linked.

For "Subject" type "New Upwork Job Alert"

Click here.

For "Body", add the Title, press Enter two times.

Add the Link, press Enter two times.

Add the Description. Then click Continue. Okay, click Test Step and then look in your email. You'll see the email about a new job, and if you want to apply, just click the link in the email. By applying early, you have a better chance to stand out and get noticed by the client.
