      When Multifactor Authentication (MFA) is enabled, you’ll encounter a new prompt during sign-in. This will occur for any Microsoft 365 (M365) login attempt after we activate the feature. Let’s begin by logging in. Please enter your district-provided email address.

      Type your password and press "Sign in".

      This wizard will guide you through the configuration of Microsoft Authenticator.\ \ The Microsoft Authenticator app enhances account security by enabling two-step verification, using push notifications, biometrics, or one-time passcodes1. It helps you sign in securely to various accounts, including work, school, personal, and non-Microsoft accounts. Press "Next" to continue.

      Download Microsoft Authenticator from the AppStore or the Google PlayStore

      Open Microsoft Authenticator and press "+"

      Back on your device, press "Work of school Account".

      Press "Scan QR code".

      This is what you will see next. You will want to scan the QR code from Setup screen on your computer.

      Press "Done".\ \ You have now enabled Multifactor authentication using Microsoft Authenticator. This will be triggered when you log in to your account away from the district. \ \ You should not be prompted for Multifactor Authentication when on district networks.
