**Action 1 - Access Profile Options** To access Concur, go to the **Concur Login** in the upper right corner of [concur.duke.edu](http://concur.duke.edu) or go to Duke@Work ([work.duke.edu](http://work.duke.edu)) and select the Concur tab. From the **Concur Home Page**, close any pop-ups that appear. Select the icon in the upper right corner of the Concur home screen.\ Select **Profile Settings** to access your Concur Profile.
**Action 2 - Validate Name and Work Number** From **Profile Options**, select **Personal Information.** Validate that the first, middle, and last name populated from SAP matches the name on the government-issued identification you use for travel. Make changes as necessary. Scroll to **Contact Information** and enter your work phone. Select **Save** to save your changes.
**Action 3 - Verify Email** From **Personal Information**, scroll to **Email Addresses**. Your Duke email address will be pre-loaded. Select **Verify**. Log into the email account entered and enter the verification code sent to that address. Receipts sent to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) and travel itineraries booked outside of Concur sent to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) with this email address in the subject line will be linked to the employee’s Concur record. You may verify more than one email address.
**Action 4 - Activate E-Receipts** From the **Profile page**, elect **E-Receipt Activation**. You can also access **Personal Information** by scrolling on the left menu paths. Click here to enable e-receipts and agree to the terms of activation.
Employees using Concur for travel and processing travel-related expense reports should activate e-receipts unless specifically instructed otherwise by the business office supporting your business unit.
**Action 5 - Frequent Traveler Programs** From the **Profile** page (or using the left menu), find **Travel Preferences**. If you will be traveling, enter frequent flyer and reward programs for hotels/car rental in the **Frequent-Traveler Program**. Concur uses this information to support e-receipting. Select **Add a Program**. Once you've entered all the information, select **Save**.
**Action 6 - Credit Card** From **Profile Options**, select **Credit Card Information**. Duke will load your Duke corporate card and the associated billing address. Select **Add a Credit Card** to enter a personal credit card if you want to use it for Duke business. Only the last four digits of the card will be displayed when working in Concur. Select **Save**.
When adding a credit card, you must enter the billing address. For your Duke Corporate Card, validate that the billing address in Concur matches the address on your statement. If not, change the address in Concur to avoid any issues with your card being accepted. If you are unsure of your billing address, contact your business office.
**Action Step 7 - Concur Mobile App** **Step 1 – Download the Concur Mobile App** From **Profile Options**, select **Concur Mobile Registration**. You can enter your email address to receive a link with download instructions, which must be opened through email on your mobile phone to download the App. A second option is downloading the Concur Mobile App directly from the appropriate App Store. Choose the option that works best for you. **Step 2 – Open the App and enable Single Sign-On** Once you've installed the mobile app, enter the Duke company code found on the **Concur Mobile Registration** page. When logging in for the first time, you **must establish** single sign-on per Duke policy as outlined below.
**Action 8 - TripItPro Mobile App - Strongly Encouraged for All Travelers** Select the **App Center tab** on the Home drop-down menu on the top left of the Concur Home Page. On the App Center page, select the **TripIt App** icon to connect. Create a TripIt Account using your Duke email address. If you already have a TripIt account, sign in to link accounts. You’ll receive an email from TripIt with a verification link. Once you’ve verified your account, download the mobile app and log in using your Duke email address and the selected password. The app will automatically upgrade you to TripItPro (indicated by a star).
**Action 9 - Completing Profile** Contact your expense delegate and travel arranger to complete your profile if these roles support your expenses and travel.
**Optional Action - Travel Arrangers** If your business unit uses Concur to book travel, you can identify travel arrangers through the profile. Your travel arrangers can book travel on your behalf using the credit card information included in your profile. To set **Travel Arrangers**, from the **Profile** page (or using the left menu), if others will book travel on your behalf, select **Setup Travel Assistants**. Select **Add an Assistant**. Enter the name of your travel arranger. Select the check box indicating the person can book travel on your behalf. Select **Save**.
**Optional Action - Send Email Notifications to Expense Delegates** If an employee would like to copy their expense delegate on all Concur email notifications, they must indicate that their expense delegates receive email notifications. Select Expense Delegates on the Profile Options page to copy expense delegates on email notifications. From the **Expense Delegates** page, select the check box under the **Receives Emails** column for any person listed. The white box will turn blue and display a “check mark.” Select **Save**.
