Setting up your LinkedIn Profile to Create

Go to your LinkedIn Profile

Click on the headshot space

Add a professional headshot

Turn on "Creator mode" so you can see analytics and get access to additional features. Add 3-5 topics that you will be focusing on.

You want to add a link to your website or landing page in your bio (only available in creator mode)

Click on the pencil icon

Add your title AND a 1 sentence pitch about your company in first person language to the "Headline" field.

Scroll down to the bottom where it says "Website"

Click the "Link" field and add a link to the appropriate CTA

Click the "Link text" field and add text that is a clear call to action

Click "Save"

Add a cover photo that encourages people to visit the link in your featured section

Go to the "Featured" section of your profile and click the + button

Click "Add a link"

Add the link to your website, webinar, landing page or free resources.

Click "Add" then edit the fields below to add a description and the appropriate page title. Click "Save" once you are done.

Go to the top right side of your profile and Click "Edit public profile & URL"

Click the pencil icon

Click the "Vanity URL name" field and add your name to the URL to make it cleaner.

Click "Save"
