Sharing Videos from BSL Zone to Social Media

Share videos, memes or other content online to your friends. You can share from or to Facebook, Twitter or Email on BSL Zone. Other apps let you share from or to Instagram, Tiktok and more.

You can choose to share to: - Your newsfeed or story, send it to a friend's timeline (all their friends and some of yours will see it) - A group e.g., Deaf Edinburgh, to an event - A private message or email so that message is sent only to the people you choose. Note: You friend can share the video to more people if they want.

Click "Open sharing menu"

Choose which website or email you want to share the video to. Then click on it.

This is an example of sharing videos from BSL Zone to Facebook or friends.\ \ Click on the space below your name and type your message.

Click "Share to News Feed or story" to change who or where you send the video to

To send the message to a specific person or people click "Share in private message"

Your friend must have the app you are sending the video to. In this example, the app is Facebook.

Click in the white box next to [[To]] and type the name of a friend.

If you click on the wrong option or change your mind, click the grey box with the choice you clicked on. In this example it says "Share in a private message"

Click the option you want.

When you're ready and have written a message (or you can send without a message), click "Post to Facebook"

Click "New Tab" to check if your message posted properly and search for Facebook (or the app you shared to)

Type Facebook in the address bar or open the app

Click on your own name or photo

Now I can see the video I shared to my timeline. \ \ In the circle you can see an icon with two people. This means the post is shared to everyone on your Facebook friends list,
