Please extend a verbal offer to the candidate and verify their interest prior to a formal offer and recommendation to hire.

Click the move forward/status dropdown.
Choose "Recommend for Hire"

A "proposed appointment" can be shared with the candidate now that outlines the first term they will teach and the courses or courseload. The official appointment letter detailing the courses and payrates will be issued later - more details at the end of this tutorial.

Below contact info click "More"
and choose "Offers"

Expand the offer details
From the dropdown choose "Adjunct-Proposed-Appointment.docx"

Fill out the appointment details. The Start Date should be the first day of the academic term. In courseload proposal you can enter a load amount or describe the courses to be taught.
Click "Save"
Click "SEND FOR APPROVAL"

The request will be sent to your Dean, the Assistant Provost for Academic Administration, and the faculty business partner for review and approval.

Once approved the faculty business partner will initiate a background check and onboard the candidate.

An official appointment letter will be generated after the employee has completed their onboarding information and courses have been assigned to them by the registrar's office. Appointment letters are sent on or after
