Mac Users: Starting BIGapp

This guide walks a user through launching the BIGapp on a Mac. Note that the BIGapp will soon be available through an online version. Until then, Breeding Insight recommends using a Mac computer and running R through the Terminal.

Click "Terminal" if it is viewable it in the dock. If it isn't viewable, search for "terminal" in the Finder and open once it is found.

In the Terminal, type "R" and then click [[Enter.]]

Type "BIGapp::run_app()" and then click [[Enter.]]

BIGapp will now appear in a new Tab in your default internet browser. *Please note that if you close "R" at any time, this will also close BIGapp.*
