    Step-by-Step Guide: Create a Salesforce Entity Relationship Diagram

    Navigate to [https://app.datatoolspro.com/login](https://app.datatoolspro.com/login)

    Click "Connect"

    Enter your [Salesforce.com](http://Salesforce.com) credentials and click "Log In"

    Click "Select Objects"

    Click "Lead (Lead)"

    Click the "Filter/Search" area.

    Type "account"

    Click "Account (Account)"

    Click "Opportunity (Opportunity)"

    Click enter or click anywhere outside of the Object selection box.

    Click "Save Objects". This will add the Salesforce objects to your data dictionary.

    Click "Entity Diagram"

    For any object in your diagram you can click on the "Launch" icon next to each object to drill in and view all of the object fields. For this tutorial we will remain in the diagram.

    Click anywhere in the box to view the relationships from this object and foreign relationships. You can also press the "Shit" key and click multiple objects.

    Click "Use Field API Name" to change from objects to field API names.

    Click the minimize button to only show the objects for a cleaner overview.

    Click expand to display re-display the details.

    Click PNG or SVG to download a copy of your entity relationship diagram.

    Click "Add More Objects" to go back to the object dictionary and add more [Salesforce.com](http://Salesforce.com) objects.
