    Step-by-Step Guide: Embedding videos into Canvas Page - Showing "Canvas Helps_ and_ Introduction to Canvas"

      Click "Edit" to edit your Canvas page.

      Click beside and backspace to delete any old, non-working video (if applicable).

      On the Rich Content Editor, click the cloud icon to "Embed".

      You will get a pop up box for your embed code.

      Copy the embed code from the source and paste the embed code into the pop up box. For the Canvas Helps page revision, the Canvas Overview video's embed code is available on the respective webpage (url listed at the top of the tutorial page). Go to the url, click on the right side of the page for "Embed this video" then "Copy Code".

      Your new video should appear as a thumbnail inside your Canvas page.

      You and students can click the caption box to turn on captioning.

      You can also add the url to the page where the video resides, if you so choose. In the case of the Canvas tutorials, the url (listed at the top of this tutorial page) will allow the user to find a transcript to the video.

      For the Canvas Helps page, you will repeat this process for the other two videos, using the appropriate embed code and url. (If you are embedding other content, the tutorial stops here.) For video 2 on the Canvas Helps page, click and delete the old video and url.
