Student: Participating in an eCourse Forum

Log into your eSchoolware Student Portal.

The Forum button will display a red notification if you have unread forum posts in any of your eCourses. Click on the **Forum** button to view more.

The Forum screen willl show all eCourse forums and any unread posts. Click on the number of unread posts to view more.

Click on an individual post title to view the full forum discussion board.

Each individual post will be noted on the left hand side of the screen. A green exclamation point will notate any new posts.

The body of the forum post will be displayed in the center of the screen. Scroll down to read the full post.

The far right column will display who posted the forum and when it was posted.

Click **Reply** to respond to the forum with a post.

Begin to type your forum post.

You can attach a file by clicking **Choose File**, selecting the file you wish to attach, and clicking **Attach File.**

Once you have completed writing and editing your post, click **Create**.

You will now see your post available within the eCourse Forum.

You can also Rate forum posts. Click **Rate** next to the post that you would like to rate.

Select the number of stars that you would like to give the Forum post.

You can now see the rating applied below the Forum title.

You can also access eCourse Forums through your eCourses in Course Player or MyDay. Navigate to the Student Portal homepage.

Click on an eCourse of your choice.

Click on the Forums button in the QuickNav bar.

Click on the title of any available eCourse Forum to view the contents.

Once inside a forum, you can add a reply.
