Navigate to [https://parkingbase.com/c/rutgers/login](https://parkingbase.com/c/rutgers/login)

Click "SIGN IN RUTGERS SSO"

Enter your Net ID and your password. Click Submit.

You may be prompted to authenticate using Duo. If you are prompted, authenticate yourself. Once authenticated, you will be presented with the next step.

Tip! \ \ The system will load the available permit(s) according to YOUR profile. This means that as a Student, you may see one of several options, such as: - Commuter - Newark East - Student Resident - Commuter - RBHS 6 Month - Commuter - RBHS 1 Month - Commuter - RBHS Academic Year - Resident - RHBS 1 Month - Resident - RBHS 6 Month - Resident - RBHS Academic Year - etc. Each Permit is tied to a particular campus as your 'PRIMARY' campus. However, as you will note on the map, your permit authorizes you to part in certain lots at certain times. You are encouraged to look closely at these locations by zooming in and clicking on the "P" marker, which provides more information about the location(s) you are authorized to park in. In the event that there are more than 1 permit options available to you, each may come with different access rights.

If you see multiple options on the following screen, choose the option that best fits your schedule and your campus.

Your permit may come with additional options, some of which may have a cost. Look closely at these options if they present themselves under Mandatory Fees or Optional Fees. In some cases, as shown below, the Fee is Mandatory, but $0.00. This simply means your permit is getting additional access rights, such as having additional parking privileges due to residing on campus at a particular residence hall.

Ensure your Contact Information is correct. Update if necessary.

Ensure your Billing Address is correct, or enter one if one does not already exist. You may click Change Address if one is already present and needs to be changed.

Click Next to continue.

Ensure the vehicle present is accurate. You may click Edit to change your vehicle information, or click Change Vehicle if you need to add a new vehicle to your account. A license plate must be unique, and may not already be registered to another Student, Faculty, or Staff member.

The Rates section is a summary overview of the permit selected in prior steps. At this step, you will again be presented with optional or required 'fees', which are simply add on features. You may change your selection at this time if applicable.

Click Next to continue.

If you require ADA permit rights, please browse to your disability documentation and upload it as part of your permit request. This document will be reviewed and approved.

In the Payments tab, you will have the option to choose your payment method. The following are options: - **Term Bill** - This option will send a request to the Student accounting department to have your parking fee adding to your Term Bill. - **Pay with One Card** - This option allows you to pay for your parking fee on a single Credit Card - **Pay with Two Cards** - This option allows you to split your parking fee across two different Credit Cards. **Please note**: Not all permits allow all payment methods. Some permit types may only allow credit card purchase, while other permit types may only allow Term Bill as a payment method. This is by design, and driven by your student profile.

If you choose to Pay with One or Two Credit Cards, please select your option, and enter our credit card information accordingly, and also review/revise your Billing Address at this step. The Address must match the address associated with your credit card(s).

The Custom Charges section simply provide an overview of the amount that will be deducted per your specified payment method.

Click Next to Continue.

The Check & Create screen is simply a summary of the selections and information from prior steps. Please review this information for accuracy and return to prior screens to make changes.

Click Sign to continue.

Click the link "Click here for leaseholder terms & conditions". This action will produce a pop up.

Read through the "Permit Terms & Conditions". You may scroll using the scroll bar on the far right of this pop up, or using your mouse scroll wheel.

Click Accept to close the Terms & Conditions popup.

You should now see that the "I have read and agree to permit terms and conditions" is checked as shown below.

Click into the white box to sign your name as best you can with your mouse or with your finger if you are on a mobile device.

Click the Book button to complete your Permit Purchase. This step may take several seconds, do you close or refresh your browser at this time.

Once your application has been processed, you will immediately be directed to your My Account screen, where you can manage your permit.
