      Submitting Receipts - E - receipts

Concur works with many major airlines, hotels, car rental, and ride-sharing companies to provide e-receipts. E-receipts are displayed in Concur under the Receipt Column with a picture of the receipt. If the purchase is a corporate card purchase, the e-receipt and the corporate card charge should automatically once Concur imports the corporate card expense from Bank of America. Users cannot delete e-receipts.

Submitting Receipts - Concur Mobile App

Follow these steps to submit receipts via the Concur Mobile App.
If you cannot log in, update your Concur Mobile App to ensure you have a current, supported version.

      Submitting Receipts - Via Email

f the Concur Mobile App is unavailable, email a PDF or JPG of the receipt to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]). Put an email address linked to your Concur profile – likely your Duke email address – in the subject line and submit the receipt. Additionally, your expense delegates can submit a receipt using [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) as long a validated email address is used in the Subject line.
**Please keep the following in mind when submitting receipts via email:** - If you have more than one Duke email address (i.e., due to a name change), the verified email address in Concur should be the email address in your email's 'From' header. - You may verify multiple email addresses. If you routinely use addresses other than your Duke address, enter and verify those addresses, as you can only email receipts from a verified email address. - If submitting receipts via the Concur Mobile App or via email (confirm receipt by Concur), a paper receipt is unnecessary. Receipts go through Optical Character Recognition (OCR), which captures receipt details. Concur will display the expense in the **Available Expenses**. To view the source information, select the Payment Type. In the **Expense Source** window, the source details will appear. In the Source field, you can view how the receipt came into Concur. If the receipt is associated with a corporate card expense, Concur will use the receipt details to match the expense to the corporate card charge. Corporate card charges may take several days to load from Bank of America, so this match may take some time. If the expense matches, you will see a picture of the receipt displayed under the **Receipt** column of the expense.

      Submitting Receipts - Via Upload

**First option via Upload:** From the **Concur Home page**, go to **Expenses**, and select **Upload Receipt** found at the bottom of the page and upload the appropriate receipt. This action leverages ExpenseIt functionality and optical character recognition when loading the receipt. Loaded receives will display in **Available Expenses**.
**Second option via Upload:** Select **Add Receipt** on an individual expense.
In the **Attach Receipt** window, select from the available receipts. Select the **Attach** icon to add the receipt to the expense.

Submitting Receipts - Via Drag and Drop

**First option via Drag and Drop:** From the **Concur Home page**, go to **Expense**.
At the bottom of the page, drag and drop your receipt in the **Available Expenses**.
The newly added receipt will appear at the top of the **Available Expenses** list.
We highly recommend validating your OOP ExpenseIt receipts to ensure accuracy. If the receipt is not accurate, you can make a change by selecting the receipt and select **Edit**. Please make any necessary changes before dragging and dropping the receipt into an expense report.
**Second option via Drag and Drop:** Select **Add Receipt** on an individual expense. In the **Add Receipt** window, “drag and drop” your receipt into the **Upload New Receipt** window. The **Drop Receipt** window will appear. Once completed, the receipt will appear next to the expense.
