Submitting a Short Term Extension Request

As you log into your Evision you will be faced with the landing page of 'My Portal'.

To begin your request, first click 'My Submissions' as shown below.

Next, Click "Short Term Extensions" to proceed.

You should now be on the 'Short Term Extensions' page. Here you will be able to access the policies around short term extensions, as well as view, add or edit your short term extension requests. To proceed with applying for a short term extension (you may need to scroll towards the bottom of the page) & Click "View, Add and Amend Requests".

This will then show your personal information, as well as any information regarding the course you are studying. To further proceed, click 'Apply for a Short Term Extension' as shown below.

To begin your request you must first confirm if you have spoken with a member from student support regarding applying for a short term extension. To do this click this (Guidance Sought) dropdown as shown below.

These are the options you may chose from. Click which option is most suitable for you.

This field will infill with your desired option. To continue, click the 'Next' button as shown below.

Here is where you will be required to explain why you are applying for a short term extension. Step 1: This is a mandatory field and must be completed in as much detail as possible when explaining your circumstances. Step 2: Next we will kindly ask about how your circumstances are affecting you submitting your assignment. Step 3: Next there are three options to select from as shown below. Ensure to select the correct option in which relates most to your circumstances. Last of all once these are completed, you will be able to move onto the next part of your request by clicking 'Next'.

Now you will be able to decide which module you require the extension for. To do this Click "Select Assessment" on the relevant module you require your short term extension for. Please only select one module per request, to ensure you are provided with correct information when a staff member is accepting or rejecting.
