      Although items are shared between menuPick, Nutrition Tool, Production Management (NCIS) and POS, production items can only be added through Production Management or the Nutrition Tool. If you add items through menuPick, you will need to edit them to make them production items.
      Navigate to Synbiotix
      Enter your username and password and click "Login"
      Select Production Management
      Production Management is called "NCIS" in some systems but the functionality is the same
      Click "Administration"
      Click "Items"
      The item's screen has a "CPU" column. Items marked as"No" in this column are not production items
      Click "Edit" next to the item
      Change the "Produced by CPU" toggle to "YES"

      Click "Save"
      The item will now be marked as "YES" in the CPU column, which shows it is a production item. You can now add a recipe to the item
