Sometimes, the number of scheduled audits may not align with the expected monthly audit count. This isn't due to any user or system error. It happens because some audit periods (except for FR2/Monthly audits) can span across more than one calendar month.
For example, let's look at the October 2023 calendar. There are four full weeks in this month. However, the 1st, 30th, and 31st of October (highlighted in red) are part of calendar weeks that extend into September and November.
For FR1 weekly audits, this means there are technically six audits that can be performed in October, even though they might actually take place in other months.\

Similarly, an FR3 location is audited every two months, and could be audited at any time from the 1st October to the 30th November. This audit would count as one of the scheduled audits for October, although it can be performed in either October or November.
You can view audits that span multiple months using the Scheduled Audit report. There are two ways to access this report: through the Dashboard, and through Reports.
