This Guide Covers: - How to create a Template with the Template editor - How to send a template in an email in MP

Navigate to <https://my.pinehills.church/mp/0/1/>

Search in the side menu "Templates" and go into the Templates page

Click "Tools (1)"

Open the "Template Editor"

The "Name" will be what the title of the template is that is shown in MP, people who are sent this template will not see what you name the Template

The "Subject" will be what is sent in the Subject line of the email

When I am creating a Template, I start by adding in the blocks or the spaces I want to add different Content into. I add in a block for each piece of content I need.

To add in blocks just click and drag over the blocks you want to add.

Once you have added all the blocks click "Content"

Click and drag whatever content into the block of your choice.

Once you've added in all the content you need for your email, just click on whatever you want to edit.

Once you click on whatever content you are wanting to edit a menu will open up on the right hand side for you to make those changes like to "Upload Image"

Type "Good morning "

If in your text you know you want to email multiple people and have the email personalized to include their names, Click "Merge Tags"

Open the Contact Fields to pull in the persons info you are sending the email to

Click "Nickname" (this will pull in the Nickname if it is listed in the persons contact, if there isn't a Nickname added to the persons contact it will simply pull their First Name instead)

You can also use Merge Tags to potentially verify addresses for people or other information in MP. You could then direct them to a form in your button where they can input their new contact info.

In templates as well, there is an "Audit" Tab

The Audit tab will tell you if there is something that needs attention in your template. For example, the below audit is telling me that 1) The Pine Hills picture, if someone has their computer set to read out their emails, the picture won't have text to read out 2) We forgot to add in a link for the button

Click "Button TextTake me to fix" this will take you to the work space to add in the link to the button

You must add in a "From Contact: \*". This can be whoever you want this email to say it's coming from

The "Reply to Contact: \*" will be there person any replies to the email will be sent to

Click "Save"

Click "Close"

Now we are going to walk through how to send your template email from MP

Search who you want to send your email or select the group of people

Once you have gone into the profile of the person you want to contact OR you have selected the group of people you want to email click "Actions"

Click "Message"

To add in your template Click "Insert"

Click "Training Test Template" or whatever template you made

When you go to send if you hover over the send button it will give you the option to send the email to yourself first to test out the template and make sure all the Merge tags are working or you could Save As Draft to send out later. That's how you Create a Template and Send it in an Email! 😁
