Enter your username and password and click "Login"

Select Production Management

The Production Overview box provides a summary of the day's production, including the menus you're preparing for and the status of each item.

Click "Food Production"

You will see a list of all items scheduled for production, and the quantities needed for each.\ \ In this example, we can see that we need to prepare 30 portions of Chilli con Carne

Click "Quantities"

You will see the quantity ordered by site. In this example, Hospital 4 have ordered 30 portions of Chilli con Carne, in individual packs.

If required, adjust the quantity field to account for any additional portions ordered

In this example, we increased the quantity to 35, and the system shows us that 5 extra portions were ordered

The "Final Quantity" field is highlighted in red to indicate that it is different from the originally ordered number of portions

Click "Save Production Quantities"

Some items may required quantites to be comfirmed for another item before they can be actioned. In this example, Mashed Potatoes is both standalone item, and an ingredient used in Fisherman's Pie (a sub item)

After you've confirmed the quantities for the other item(s) that use the ingredient, the 'pending' message will disappear, and you can then confirm the required quantities for the ingredient

Some items may only appear once you've confirmed quantities for another item. These items are called sub items, and you can't manually set quantities for them because their quantity is determined by the quantities required for the other items.\ \ In this example, Pastry and Seasoning are both sub items used in other recipes

Fisherman's Pie is a main item, but it also contains Mashed Potatoes and Seasoning. Both of the these items need to be produced before we can produce the Pie
