The Tillex Onboarding Process

This short guide explains how Smokin Donut Ltd project manages a Tillex build, so you know to plan time effectively and get prepared. With real, helpful humans supporting each stage (no robots, no waffle), we keep things moving in the right direction until you've created a high-quality, inventory-linked EPOS/Estore making life easier for both staff and customers.

New Tillexians complete a set of tasks via a project management tool. Join here: [TRELLO](https://trello.com/anniepenn1/recommend)

Tip! Once joined, your Tillex Trainer will hand over the shared workspace for you to get started.

As you work through checklists - ask questions in job-card comments (saves on emails) for your Tillex Trainer to see and solve.

Alert! Please try to schedule training dates in advance. Our support team manages many merchants, so plenty of notice helps to provide focused, practical advice.

Each job card prompts thought, such as: - *how so you stock manage perishables?* - *are you selling online or just instore?* - *will you be offering deliver slots?* - *what happens with your loyalty scheme?* - *do you sell in bulk?* - *are you taking bookings?* - *have you got hardware?*

Once the heavy lifting is done (Inventory-Sales), everything starts to take shape. At this point, you’ll be testing on your own hardware or putting together the Tillex-recommended kit and thinking, “Ahhh… now I get it.” [Hardware](https://scribehow.com/viewer/Tillex_Epos__Ecommerce_Hardware__pVQhfoVkS7aT6FOPQzZ9lg)

Note: Your customers are ordering from your **Inventory** - **in real time!** - Products sync to both webstore + EPOS. - Stock levels stay accurate in real-time, which means... no stock takes[[😁.]] - Tillex alerts merchants to create a PO (Purchase Order) when items hit minimum levels.
